How does the ticket bidding work? How will I know if I secure a ticket?

Bidding on Funl is simple: you choose what you want to pay. No surprise fees, no markup. Just place your bid and you’re in the running for one of the limited spots.

The bidding window closes when the clock on this page expires. Until then, you can increase your bid anytime.

If another fan outbids you and you drop out of the winning group, we’ll notify you by text/email so you can decide whether to bump your bid back into a winning position.

When the auction ends, the top 12 bids win!

Can I place a bid for multiple tickets?

Absolutely. This event allows you to buy more than one ticket, so feel free to grab an extra for a friend who may want in. Your bid is per ticket. So, for example, if you bid $800 for 2 tickets, your total would be $800 x 2 for a total of $1600. 

Who gets to attend?

This is a 21+ event! There is extremely limited space so only the winning bidders will be allowed to attend the writer's camp. However, for Saturday night, the winning bidders will get to invite friends to attend an in-studio pop up show featuring DJ's from the writer's camp and Blunts & Blondes (capacity 100).

What’s included in this VIP experience?

Everything listed in the event description is part of this experience. What's not included: Food, travel, and lodging UNLESS you're one of the top two bidders (we'll notify them individually when bidding closes). Those two will be allowed to stay in the two bedrooms on site at the studio at no charge. 

How and when will I be charged?

If you finish the auction inside the winning group when bidding closes, your card on file is automatically charged right then, no extra steps needed.

Why was 5 minutes added to the end of the auction?

That’s our anti-sniping feature at work. If a new bid lands in the final 5 minutes and changes the winning lineup, we automatically extend the auction by another 5 minutes. This keeps things fair and gives everyone time to respond.
